Why Arsenal Rest exists

The internet is full of "10 best restaurants in [city]" lists that are thin, often paid for, and useless six months later. We do the opposite. Arsenal Rest collects the evergreen knowledge of dining out — the etiquette, the customs, the vocabulary and the simple decision rules — so that you can walk into any restaurant, in any country, and feel completely at home.

The name is literal: "rest" for restaurants, "arsenal" for a toolkit. Everything here is written and edited to a single standard — clear, accurate, and useful — and checked against established culinary references and public sources. We tell you when a custom varies, when to ask, and when the menu is quietly working against your wallet.
